Key Past Performance
NCEH – Division of Environmental Public Health Tracking Program
Hite provided technical assistance expertise in informatics, data science, biostatistics, epidemiology, health education, and communication to support the maintenance and expansion of the Tracking Network and the use of the Tracking Network to inform public health actions and decisions. HCI provided expertise toward strategic data visualization, program evaluation, emergency response, and surveillance of environmental threats and their impact on communities.
DDID – Data Modernization Initiative
Hite supported the Deputy Director for Infectious Disease’s (DDID) data modernization initiative by providing effective communication tools, operational support and strategic principles of organizational change management processes to improve adaptation, promote awareness and encourage engagement between program leadership and stakeholders.
ATSDR – National ALS Surveillance System/Registry
Hite provides critical operational and analytic support for the promotion of the ALS Registry and its database.
- Provides communication and statistical data analysis to promote, track and maintain the Registry’s data. Additionally, Hite team works with the program to incorporate data from existing national databases and information provided by those directly affected by ALS within the agency’s database. Our team’s work is what helps drive awareness of the Registry’s impact and we work closely with partners to gather crucial patient data across registries on the national, state, and metropolitan levels.
- Hosts symposiums, contributes to the management of the program’s website, collaborates with various partners and stakeholders to create promotional materials and manuscripts and support external research funded by the Registry.
FEMA Training and Instructional Design
- Delivered technical training support for FEMA’s Grants Management Modernization (GMM) program.
- Designed and implemented an enterprise-wide training program to educate stakeholders on grants management systems and processes.
- Led instructional design and delivery for diverse audiences, including emergency responders, state and local governments, congressional staff, and media representatives.
CDC Administrative Support
- Supported senior leaders and directors in the Office of the Chief Information Office (OCIO) and the Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity and Obesity (DNPAO) with day-to-day tasks such as travel, meeting facilitation and coordination as well as calendar management.
- Worked with HR to onboard and offboard contract staff to the agency and ensure security clearance is completed promptly.
- Provided expertise in workforce development, change management and succession planning in the Division of Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention (DHDSP).
FEMA Grants Management
- Provided full lifecycle grants management support for FEMA’s Fire Grants Programs.
- Supported FEMA’s largest grant portfolio by volume, processing over 13,000 applications annually with approximately $600M in funding.
- Executed critical grants management functions to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, achievement of program objectives, and timely distribution of funds to first responders and research partners.
